Our Commitment–Driven by Conviction
Because every child deserves to grow up in a safe and caring environment.
Because every animal deserves dignity, protection, and compassion.
Because each of us can make a meaningful contribution—large or small.
“Every life matters—whether small or large, on two legs or four. To volunteer is to give not only your time, but also your heart.”
Dr. Patricia Cronemeyer
Acting on Conviction
Because every child deserves a safe and loving environment.
Because every animal deserves respect, protection, and care.
Because every person can make a difference—whether through small acts or great commitments.
Supporting Children in Need
Since 2017, Patricia Cronemeyer has served as a representative of Kinderlachen e.V., overseeing the organisation’s legal and contractual matters on a voluntary basis.
Supported by a large network of volunteers, Kinderlachen assists disadvantaged children throughout Germany by providing help where it is needed most. The organisation is funded exclusively through private donations and sponsorships and is dedicated to improving opportunities and living conditions for children in need. (https://kinderlachen.de)
Commitment to Animal Welfare
Dr. Patricia Cronemeyer also supports the work of Hunderettung e.V., a charitable organisation dedicated to helping dogs in need through extensive voluntary efforts.
Its mission is to give animals a second chance at a safe and loving home while promoting sustainable and responsible animal welfare. Through her involvement, Dr. Cronemeyer seeks to strengthen awareness of animal welfare issues and encourage greater responsibility for the protection and wellbeing of animals. “Digital violence against women, female politicians, and volunteers is a threat to democracy and must be addressed at every level.”
Verena Haisch
German Women Lawyers Association
For many years, Verena Haisch has been actively involved in the German Women Lawyers Association (djb), contributing to legal and policy discussions on digitalisation, gender equality, and the protection of fundamental rights in the digital sphere.
Since February 2016, she has been a member of the association’s Digital Affairs Commission (formerly the Digital Affairs Working Group) and has served as its Deputy Chair since February 2022.
A particular focus of her work is the monitoring and evaluation of national and European legislative initiatives, including Germany’s Network Enforcement Act (NetzDG) and the Digital Services Act (DSA). In this context, she advocates for effective legal intervention strategies that enable victims of digital violence to enforce their rights and obtain meaningful legal protection.
She is also committed to ensuring that gender perspectives are reflected in current European legislative initiatives relating to digital regulation, online safety, and platform governance.

HateAid gGmbH
HateAid is Germany’s first dedicated support organisation for people affected by online violence.
As cooperating counsel for HateAid, Verena Haisch has been providing comprehensive legal support to the organisation and its clients for several years. In the fight against hate speech, online harassment, image-based abuse, defamation, and other forms of digital violence, she uses her legal expertise to support those affected—often public figures, politicians, journalists, and activists—in both out-of-court and court proceedings.
Her work focuses on helping victims assert their rights effectively, obtain legal protection, and hold perpetrators accountable through strategic legal action. (https://hateaid.org/)
