Dr. Patricia Cronemeyer is an expert in all aspects of media law and personality rights.
In the entertainment sector, numerous high-profile clients rely on her expertise and experience in matters such as the protection of privacy, the defence against defamatory media coverage, and the negotiation and drafting of contracts and professional engagements. To provide direct and personal support to clients in the international entertainment industry, Patricia Cronemeyer has maintained an office in Hollywood, Los Angeles, for many years.
Attacks on reputation, particularly through online platforms, pose an increasing risk for businesses and organizations. Dr. Patricia Cronemeyer advises and represents corporate clients and associations in protecting their reputation, including the removal of defamatory content from search engines and social media platforms.

Verena Haisch
Partner
Verena Haisch is an experienced expert in media law, press law, and public relations law.
She advises and represents businesses as well as public figures in matters relating to press and freedom of expression law, with a particular focus on reputation management and media litigation. For more than 15 years, Verena Haisch has successfully represented clients in disputes before courts at all levels, ranging from urgent interim injunction proceedings to landmark cases involving fundamental legal principles.
A key focus of her practice is the protection of personality rights online. She supports private individuals and politicians in combating online harassment, hate speech, and digital violence, particularly on social media platforms. In this capacity, she also serves as cooperating counsel for HateAid gGmbH.
For corporate clients, she frequently advises and litigates in matters involving negative online reviews, product tests, media reporting, and reputational attacks across digital platforms.
Another important area of her work is advising editorial teams, production companies, journalists, and producers on the development of legally compliant media formats, television productions (including docudramas), and the drafting and negotiation of contracts.

Amelie Seidenader

Amelie Seidenader has been part of Cronemeyer Haisch since 1 April 2022.
Her practice focuses on press law and media law. During her legal traineeship (Referendariat) in Lüneburg and Hamburg, she gained early experience in this field and worked alongside Patricia Cronemeyer on press law matters, in addition to completing placements in criminal law.
Amelie Seidenader was born in Munich and studied law at the University of Hamburg.

Philipp Hellwig

Philipp Hellwig has been admitted to the German Bar since April 2022 and has been part of the Cronemeyer Haisch team in Hamburg since January 2026. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for a respected media law boutique in Berlin as well as for a public broadcasting organisation.
His areas of practice include press and freedom of expression law, copyright law, and media law. Philipp Hellwig advises a broad range of clients—including NGOs, journalists, creative professionals, media organisations, private individuals, and companies—on reputation protection, all aspects of mass media communication, and the enforcement of legal claims both in and out of court.
He studied law in Leipzig with a specialisation in Media and Information Law. During his legal traineeship (Referendariat) at the Higher Regional Court of Dresden, he completed placements with leading press and media law firms as well as a regional media authority.
Philipp Hellwig has successfully completed the specialist lawyer training course in Copyright and Media Law (Fachanwaltslehrgang für Urheber- und Medienrecht).
